Syriac Language Pack [Syriac]

Installation

The first step is to install the Syriac OCR package in your .NET project.

PM > Install-Package IronOcr.Languages.Syriac

Code Example

This C# code example reads Syriac text from an image or PDF document.

// Import the IronOcr library
using IronOcr;

class Program
{
    static void Main()
    {
        // Instantiate the IronTesseract object
        var Ocr = new IronTesseract();

        // Set the language to Syriac
        Ocr.Language = OcrLanguage.Syriac;

        // Create an OCR input from an image file
        using (var Input = new OcrInput(@"images\Syriac.png"))
        {
            // Read the image and extract the text
            var Result = Ocr.Read(Input);

            // Retrieve the full recognized text
            var AllText = Result.Text;

            // Output the text to the console
            Console.WriteLine(AllText);
        }
    }
}

In this example:

  • We create an instance of IronTesseract to process OCR.
  • The Ocr.Language is set to Syriac to ensure accurate text recognition for this language.
  • We load an image containing Syriac text into OcrInput and process it using Ocr.Read.
  • The recognized text is then stored in Result.Text, which can be utilized further in your application.
