Code Example

This C# code example reads Kyrgyz text from an image or PDF document.

// Import the IronOcr namespace
using IronOcr;

public class KyrgyzOcrExample
{
    public void PerformOcr()
    {
        // Initialize IronTesseract for OCR operations
        var Ocr = new IronTesseract();

        // Set the OCR language to Kyrgyz
        Ocr.Language = OcrLanguage.Kyrgyz;

        // Define the input using an image file path
        using (var Input = new OcrInput(@"images\Kyrgyz.png"))
        {
            // Perform OCR and get the result
            var Result = Ocr.Read(Input);

            // Extracted text from the image
            string AllText = Result.Text;

            // Output the extracted text (or use it in your application as needed)
            Console.WriteLine(AllText);
        }
    }
}
  • This code block initializes an IronTesseract object to perform OCR.
  • It sets the language to Kyrgyz using the OcrLanguage.Kyrgyz enum.
  • The OcrInput class is used to specify the file path of the image from which text will be extracted.
  • Ocr.Read(Input) performs the OCR process and provides a result containing the extracted text accessible via Result.Text.
  • Finally, Console.WriteLine(AllText) outputs the extracted text to the console.
