Iron Software gives engineering, legal and procurement teams clear information to help assess our software, licensing and commercial requirements.

Commercial Licensing

Iron Software is commercially licensed for use in proprietary and commercial software.

Some open-source licences can create source-code disclosure obligations depending on how software is used or distributed. Iron Software’s commercial licence does not require customers to publish their proprietary project source code as a condition of using our products.

Our licensing terms define areas including developer coverage, deployment, redistribution and SaaS or OEM use where applicable.

Enterprise Procurement

Organisations with more complex legal, procurement or deployment requirements can work with Iron Software through our Enterprise offering.

This can include EULA review, vendor assessments, SBOM and dependency information, security documentation, air-gapped deployment and more complex licensing requirements.

Privacy & Payment Compliance

Transactions with Iron Software are processed through FastSpring, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record.

FastSpring maintains PCI DSS Level 1 compliance and supports applicable privacy requirements including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
